Dominican Divers is consolidated by a couple of diving lovers and professionals. What years ago began as simple fun, ended up becoming the passion of our lives.
After many years of experience in the diving industry, working with different international companies, offering different types of excursions to people from all corners of the world and after having expanded our training and growth in the world of diving.
We both actively support the conservation of the environment and we want to teach you what we do best, while respecting life and nature.

Diving team
Ylenia Fernández, is from Cáceres (Spain). Passionate about nature, animals and photography. She came to the Dominican Republic in 2015 as a professional photographer. After a year on the island she is presented with the opportunity to dive for the first time, a moment that changed his life forever. She worked as an underwater videographer for 3 consecutive years, a trade with which she grew personally and professionally. She has been a diving instructor since 2019 and now enjoys what she likes the most. Proud to shape Dominican Divers from cero, contributing her creative part with all the love and enthusiasm. She will be waiting for you with open arms to have fun with you.
Italo Floridia comes from Caracas (Venezuela), proud to be the father of two princesses (Ishka and Valentina). Before arriving in the Dominican Republic in 2014, he enjoyed diving on different sites around Mexico and Venezuela. In 2015 he became a diving Instructor although this was only the first step, as his goal was to reach the top in diving career. After much effort and dedication, today he is PADI Master Instructor and Assistant Instructor Trainer at SSI.
Within this world, what he is most passionate about are the specialties of Technical Diving and Cave Diving. And for the end today he is fulfilling the dream of creating his own proyect, where he will surely share with you everything he has learned. He is a very observant and professional person in everything he does, so you will have your safety guaranteed by his side. It is also necessary to emphasize his cheerful and charismatic personality, which ensures that your experience with Dominican Divers will be full of laughter and funny moments.
